About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trainee Obstetrics Physician to join our team at Hammersmith Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general elective anaesthetic care and will work closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

The theatre list allocations will change on a weekly basis, allowing the post holder to experience all anaesthetic subspecialties at Hammersmith under direct consultant supervision. The post holder will be expected to cover cardiac arrests and the acute pain service when on call.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing general elective anaesthetic care
  • Working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals
  • Covering cardiac arrests and the acute pain service when on call

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Eligible for full GMC Registration
  • Distinctions, prizes, and relevant experience in anaesthesia
