Lead Product Strategist - Logistics Insurance Solutions

The Logistics Insurance division plays a crucial role within the Last Mile Delivery and Technology sector, focusing on the creation, implementation, and oversight of insurance product strategies tailored for global third-party delivery partners, addressing a variety of scenarios.

In the capacity of Lead Product Strategist, you will take charge of driving product advancements and feature enhancements across insurance offerings in regions including EU, APAC, and MENA. You will collaborate with fellow product leaders to formulate a clear vision, develop a strategic roadmap, and work in tandem with partner teams to deliver exceptional insurance solutions to our third-party delivery associates.

As a recognized authority in the field, you will distill complex insurance distribution and pricing strategies for executive leadership, ensuring alignment among diverse stakeholders with your product roadmap. Furthermore, you will establish and implement metrics to regularly assess the performance of insurance offerings, pinpointing opportunities for enhancement.

With frequent visibility to senior and executive leadership, you will effectively articulate your roadmap to ensure coherence with leadership and partner teams.

About the Team

The Logistics Insurance team is dedicated to the development and optimization of essential insurance programs for Amazon's global last mile and middle mile logistics networks. These initiatives are designed to protect and enhance the ecosystem of entrepreneurs and business owners collaborating with Amazon, improving delivery speed, flexibility, and reliability for our clientele.

Our success is measured through improvements in financial performance, operational insurance metrics, and the positive effects on the businesses of our community members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in leading roadmap strategy and definition
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end product delivery
  • Expertise in feature delivery and product trade-offs
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Background in managing technology products
  • Experience with product cycles lasting 6 months or more
  • Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functional teams and engage with senior stakeholders
