Primary Care Nurse Professional

The primary care nurse will work as part of the healthcare team providing medical services to patients. The job involves assisting in and performing routine tasks related to patient care, as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs.
- Assisting in and performing routine general practice nursing tasks related to patient care, including cytology, wound care, ECGs, venepuncture, ear syringing, immunisations, requesting pathology tests, and long-term conditions management.
- Maintaining and documenting accurate medical records according to NMC guidelines.
Main Duties:
- Cytology
- Wound care
- ECGs
- Venepuncture
- Ear syringing
- Routine immunisations/Childhood immunisations in line with national and local patient group directives.
- Requesting pathology tests, for example urine culture, swabs
- Long Term Conditions management
