Job Opportunity - Mechanical Engineering Manager
Proftech Talent Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to join their Engineering Department in West Bromwich, West Midlands. The company specializes in organo-sulphur synthesis and high-pressure hydrogenation, supplying organic chemistry services to a global market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering departments, including 25 staff and contractors. Key responsibilities include mechanical maintenance department management, mechanical project engineering management, and safety, health, and environmental management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the management of the Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering departments.
- Mechanical maintenance department management.
- Mechanical project engineering management experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- Excellent personnel management skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Mechanical Engineer/Manager.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English.
