We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the Tunbridge Wells area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance services to our retail stores, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and undertake reactive maintenance tasks
- Undertake minor installation tasks, including minor projects related to power supply, lighting, power distribution, etc.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, ensuring timely repairs
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Holding a qualification in Electrical Installation, such as NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds
- Possession of an AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) certificate
- Knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience in electrical maintenance and repair
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid UK driver's licence, required for site visits
