Job Title: Compliance Risk Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Risk Officer to support our Head of Compliance and Audit in scheduling and completing compliance requirements for our client, an Insurance Broker/Network.

About the Role:
  • Schedule and complete compliance requirements to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Record material regulatory breaches and provide feedback to Senior Management.
  • Act as a point of contact for Brokers and manage the Compliance Inbox.
  • Assist in producing Management Information and Monthly Reports.
  • Support the Senior Management Team with ad hoc projects.
  • Complete mandatory Continuing Professional Development set by the Head of Compliance and Audit.
  • Adhere to the FCA's Code of Conduct.
  • Help in the identification, assessment, and documentation of operational/regulatory risks and controls.
  • Manage monthly MI reports, update policies & procedures, and review files.
Requirements:
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • Qualifications in Financial Services e.g. Cert CII or equivalents.
  • Previous experience in Compliance/Risk/Governance/File Auditing Roles.
  • Ideally, previous experience in General Insurance and/or Pure Protection sectors.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

Salary Range: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum based on experience.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9-5, reporting to the Head of Compliance and Audit.
