Mathematics Lecturer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mathematics Lecturer to join our team at a leading Further Education institution. As a Mathematics Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching Mathematics to students at various levels
  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve academic goals
Requirements:
  • Teaching qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS, PGCE, certificate in education)
  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mathematics
  • Ability to manage challenging behavior
  • Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in education or apprentice setting
  • Experience teaching GCSE or Functional skills Mathematics
  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
