Development Planning Role

We are working with a national residential developer to find a skilled Development Planning professional to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in town planning or development, with experience in appraisals, planning applications, and negotiations. They will be responsible for managing the planning process, including pre-apps, planning applications, and S106 agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appraise potential development sites for financial and planning viability
  • Manage pre-apps, planning applications, and planning promotions through the development process
  • Negotiate S106 agreements and discharge conditions
  • Represent the company at planning committee meetings and consultations

Requirements:

  • Town Planning or Property Development degree (RTPI or RICS accredited)
  • Experience in consultancy or client-side role (Local authority considered)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Driven and ambitious individual with a strong understanding of budgets and time to a project
