Physiotherapist Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a key member of our assessment team, you will use your clinical expertise to evaluate how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will conduct assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to determine a person's eligibility for benefits. Your compassion and experience will help customers move forward with their lives.

The role can be both challenging and rewarding, which is why we provide a tailored training programme to help you thrive. You'll begin with 6 weeks of training before assessing customers and have ongoing support and mentorship in your role with us.

Your duties will include conducting telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life, producing Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports, developing your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with regular feedback and supervision, and comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
