About the Role

As a Band Coach at iRock School of Music, you will be responsible for delivering rock and pop band sessions to groups of children across up to 10 primary schools per week. You will teach drums, keyboard, guitar, and vocals within a band setting, and guide students as they prepare for and perform in their first live shows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging rock and pop band sessions to children
  • Teach multiple instruments, including drums, keyboard, guitar, and vocals
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and the community
  • Facilitate student performances and manage administrative tasks
  • Assist students in achieving entry-level music qualifications
  • Participate in summer camps and other school events

Requirements

  • Musical proficiency in at least two instruments
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a car
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage schedule and tasks
  • Passion for music and ability to build positive relationships
  • Reliability and commitment to providing high-quality music education
  • Excellent communication skills
