Purpose of Role:As the global tax compliance landscape continues to evolve, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Weir Group's tax team in a newly created position of Group Transfer Pricing Manager. Reporting to the Group's Director of Transfer Pricing & International Tax, you will work as part of a team supporting the Group in identifying and fully satisfying its transfer pricing compliance requirements across the 60+ jurisdictions in which Weir operates.
You will also work closely with the business to understand areas of potential change in commercial operations and value drivers, and develop appropriate TP policies aligned with both business practice and the group's broader tax strategy. The Weir Group is a dynamic organization, and the nature of the role offers great opportunities to collaborate across functions within the organization, and develop your personal skills through exposure to a broad range of transfer pricing and international tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and coordinate annual transfer pricing compliance obligations across all jurisdictions in which The Weir Group operates.
- Prepare and/or review submissions to tax authorities, working in conjunction with regional tax and finance leadership, as well as external advisors as appropriate.
- Partner with broader business functions to understand existing and evolving commercial operations, and provide advice on the potential impact on TP policy and documentation.
- Provide input on TP calculations/entries to support the Group's broader corporate income tax, Pillar II, and CbCR reporting.
- A professional tax or accounting qualification.
- Experience in transfer pricing is desirable, either from a specialist transfer pricing role or through the provision of broader international tax advice to complex global businesses.
- Confident in building relationships with cross-functional teams across the business, as well as working with key stakeholders to deliver agreed objectives in a commercial environment.
