Learning Mentor Assistant

Job Description:
A teaching assistant position is available in a Primary School located in BS36, supporting students with ASD needs in a KS1 class. The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis, collaborating with the class teacher to develop activities and adapting to the unique needs of each pupil.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the class teacher to create engaging activities.
- Adapting activities to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Providing one-on-one support to children in a dedicated 1:1 setting.
- Assisting in assessment and documenting learning progress.
- Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
- Promoting student achievement by setting challenging goals.
