Pay Rate: £25.65 per hour (assignment rate)
Job Description:
Main Responsibilities:
- To conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and design individualized exercise treatment plans, ensuring adherence to the ERI Standards of Proficiency to Practice.
- To lead group-based exercise therapy sessions, promoting optimal function and rehabilitation in injured or ill service personnel, with a maximum of 15 patients per session.
- To develop and implement safe and effective exercise programs, including strength training, Range of Movement (ROM) enhancement, posture correction, neuro-muscular control, walking/running re-education, aerobic training, recreational therapy, manual handling, and hydrotherapy.
- To work collaboratively as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a comprehensive and professional rehabilitation service.
- To effectively manage challenging behaviors and communicate complex information clearly through presentations and written reports.
- To possess a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy and have recent UK experience within the field.
- To be registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist to work in the UK, with NHS experience being advantageous but not essential.
Requirements:
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Ability to lead group-based exercise therapy sessions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
