Henry Blue is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Scholarship Programme Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our Engineering Scholarship Programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the administration of the scholarship programme, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and student needs.
  • Promote scholarship opportunities to current and prospective students, highlighting the benefits of securing financial support for their academic pursuits.
  • Coordinate the scholarship application and selection process, including reviewing applications, organising selection committees, and communicating decisions to applicants.
  • Maintain positive relationships with sponsors to secure future scholarship opportunities and ensure the programme's continued success.
  • Monitor and report on the impact of scholarships on student success and programme outcomes, providing valuable insights for programme improvement.
Operational Employer Liaison:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local employers to support the scholarship programme and enhance student employability.
  • Organise and facilitate employer-led talks, workshops, activities, and networking events for students, providing opportunities for real-world learning and professional development.
  • Coordinate industry visits, guest lectures, and mentorship programmes to provide students with valuable insights and guidance from industry experts.
  • Gather and analyse feedback from employers to continuously improve the relevance of the curriculum and student preparedness.
  • Track and monitor student engagement activities using college-based systems such as Pro-engage and GroFar.
Teaching & Student Scholarship Support:
  • Provide comprehensive guidance and support to students seeking scholarships, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities in the engineering and construction sectors.
  • Assist students in navigating the scholarship application process, including helping them prepare application materials and understand eligibility requirements.
  • Conduct workshops and information sessions to educate students about available scholarships, application deadlines, and tips for successful applications.
  • Promote professional development opportunities to enhance student employability and career readiness.
  • Offer one-on-one advising sessions to help students develop career plans, prepare for job interviews, and connect with industry mentors.
