Part-Time Chef Opportunity

Spire Healthcare is seeking a skilled Part-Time Chef to join their catering team at Spire Alexandra Hospital in Chatham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for part-time hours with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

  • Produce high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to centralized standards of preparation, production, and presentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and flexible approach to meet the needs of the hospital.
  • Plan patients' diets, manage stock, and maintain a strong knowledge of allergens.
  • Ensure quality assurance and patient confidentiality are maintained at all times.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH and Manual Handling.

Requirements

  • Previous chef/cookery experience is essential.
  • A Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate is required, and you must demonstrate a clear understanding of this.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are necessary to provide a high level of service to patients and staff.
