Are you looking to develop your skills in a dynamic and growing company? Thorn Baker Group is recruiting for a Production Admin to join our successful Timber Frame client in Derby.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist the production supervisor with day-to-day duties in our busy factory. The successful candidate will have excellent numeracy skills, good time management, and the ability to prioritize workload in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce cutting lists for saws and order and record drawings and cutting lists using our FrameIT system.
- Print panel labels and job sheets, and produce loading sheets and all associated paperwork.
- Manually check loaded trailers and prepare/organize despatch materials.
- Provide office cover if the production supervisor is on holiday or off sick.
Requirements
- Good time management and ability to prioritize workload.
- Excellent numeracy skills and organized methodical approach.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word applications.
- Team player with a 'can do' attitude and knowledge of ERP & MRP systems.
Desirable
- Previous experience in construction is preferable but not essential as appropriate training will be given.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as you will deal with colleagues, OCM, and clients.
- Strong inter-personal and coordinating abilities.
- Ability to plan and manage workload.
About the Client
Our client is a specialist in timber frame with a strong track record in housing and working alongside prestigious new build developers in the UK. They manufacture complete structural platform frames, roof, and floor cassettes.
Benefits
- £13.00 p/h starting salary.
- 37.5 hour working week.
- 6:30am - 16:30pm Monday - Thursday.
