About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our team at a school in the Bristol area. As a long-term class teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to national curriculum standards, completing all marking, attending staff meetings, and potentially school parents' evenings. You will also be required to mentor and guide the teaching assistant/s within the classroom.

Requirements
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
  • Provide an inclusive, vibrant environment and deliver inspiring lessons
  • Have experience working with students who may demonstrate challenging behaviour and who may have Special Educational Needs
  • Be able to adapt to different situations and use initiative
  • Be able to provide a safe and positive learning environment and have understanding of managing challenging behaviour
About the School

The school supports vulnerable young people and provides a safe, nurturing, holistic learning environment. They offer a curriculum that can be more flexible or personalised to individual needs. Some children have EHCPs for additional needs such as SEMH, ADHD, and Autism.
