Academic Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support students with moderate to severe learning difficulties at our SEN school in Totnes. This role involves working closely with children in the classroom and community, facilitating their educational growth through small groups and one-on-one sessions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting students in accessing education
- Providing support for students with complex needs
- Participating in various activities both within and outside the school site
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 per year, processed via PAYE with no additional fees. Our organisation also offers access to discounted training courses and a client self-service app.
Requirements:- A Child Workforce DBS is required; we will provide full assistance in obtaining or updating this check
- The ideal candidate must have the necessary qualifications and training
Taking into account the location and job requirements, the estimated annual salary for this position is around £25,000.
