Job Title: Multiskilled Technician for Building Services

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multiskilled Technician to join our team at Gold Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical and mechanical systems on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure site Electrical & Mechanical systems are operated and maintained to the required codes of practice and industry guidelines.
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance and reactive issues relating to all electrical equipment and assets.
  • Complete information and feedback to computer-based systems, particularly the PPM system.
  • Installation and modification of site electrical/mechanical services.
  • Support SORC (Shift Operational Risk Controller) with LV/HV Switching requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with the site operations risk controller, including plant status, isolations, issues arising, ongoing works, and standards of housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the Building Services industry.
  • C&G Level 3 qualified or equivalent in electrical services/maintenance as primary bias.
  • C&G Level 3 qualified or equivalent in Mechanical services/maintenance (desirable).
  • HV Authorised Person Certificate and experience (desirable).
  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation competent.
  • Recognised training or apprenticeship.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding and technical competence in all building services, particularly UPS, generators, static switches, water treatment, refrigeration, and air conditioning.
  • Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
  • Willingness to attend on and off-site training for plant and systems as they are installed.
  • Reliable and conscientious.
