Job Title: Senior Building Construction Expert
">About the Role:
- We are seeking a Senior Building Construction Expert to oversee the financial health of our construction projects, ensuring value for money and minimizing risk.
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in quantification and costing of construction works, as well as experience with NEC contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sole responsibility for a project or section of a project
- Preparation and management of interim payments and certifications
- Drafting and preparation of claims
- Preparation and agreement of final account
- Negotiating with clients, subcontractors, and consultants
- Advising project management on contractual implications
- Identifying commercial risks within a project
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Contributing to project business plans
- Establishing a project budget
- Executing contract documents
- Reporting issues and risks to management
Requirements:
- BSc(Hons) MRICS
- Experience with NEC contracts
- Quantification and costing of construction works
- Construction technology and environmental services
- Managing a project or area with a budget of £25m
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Milton Keynes East
