About the Role

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Community Mental Health Nurse to join our Community Mental Health Team in Liskeard. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to individuals experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems.

Main Responsibilities

Assess and manage a defined caseload of patients, developing and implementing effective care plans that promote recovery and independence.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure person-centered care.

Requirements

Current professional registration with the HCPC as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).

Post-basic training in mental health nursing.

Extensive experience working with mental health patients, with a focus on clinical leadership and supervision.

Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.

Desirable Skills

Sound working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and other relevant legislation.

Ability to supervise staff and demonstrate high clinical standards.
