Software Engineer for AI Systems

Cognassist is a pioneering technology company seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of advanced AI systems. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience with C# and Python, as well as expertise in designing and implementing scalable solutions in cloud environments.
About the Role- We are offering a competitive salary of £120,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package including a 5% matched contribution pension scheme and 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical decision-making, guiding architectural improvements, and implementing modern best practices for software development.
- You will work closely with our cross-functional team to design, build, and maintain scalable and secure SaaS solutions for high availability and performance across cloud environments.
- In addition to your technical expertise, you will also have excellent communication skills and be able to mentor and coach junior engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Extensive experience with SaaS platforms, proficient in C# and either Python or TypeScript, strong knowledge of database systems (both SQL and NoSQL), and familiarity with automated testing frameworks and AI-specific testing techniques.
