About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at Galanos House, a CQC Outstanding Care Home. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food services to our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head Chef to maintain a high standard of food provision and service.
  • Manage catering operations, including stock control and team management.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety Act regulations.
  • Provide excellent communication and leadership skills to support a positive team environment.

Requirements:

  • NVQ 3 Cooking or equivalent qualification.
  • Immediate food hygiene certificate.
  • Experience in catering management, particularly in care homes or similar environments.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including shifts over 7 days.
