We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic English language specialist to join our dynamic department at Wayman Learning Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of confident communicators and critical thinkers.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating English language lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 and potentially Key Stage 4. This will involve utilizing a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their literacy skills effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate English language lessons across the curriculum.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their literacy skills effectively.
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Design and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress in reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
- A qualified English language specialist with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of language in students of all abilities.
- Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
