Personal Care and Development Officer

As a Personal Care and Development Officer at Choice Care, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized care and support, while also promoting independence and encouraging residents to engage in meaningful activities.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our residents and their families. You will work closely with our care teams to ensure that each individual receives tailored care and support that meets their unique needs.
We offer a comprehensive training program, which includes on-the-job training, as well as access to external qualifications such as the Adult Care Worker Level 2 and Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3. Our aim is to provide our staff with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles and progress within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personalized care and support to residents
- Encouraging residents to engage in meaningful activities and promote independence
- Maintaining accurate records of resident care and activities
- Collaborating with care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £18,000 - £21,996 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including paid training, holiday entitlement, sick pay, and access to our Employee Assistance Program.
