The Australian Capital Territory's Emergency Services Agency is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Assistant Director, Fleet. As a key member of the ESA team, you will be responsible for leading the management and procurement of fleet assets and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and ACT Government policy frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective fleet management strategies to support ESA's operational capability.
- Lead a small team responsible for fleet projects, ensuring seamless delivery and implementation.
- Provide expert advice to ESA Executives, senior management, and business units on fleet-related matters.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve agency outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for strategic fleet projects and services to enhance operational response across the ACT Emergency Services Agency.
Requirements:
- A 'C' Class Driver's licence is essential. A 'HR' Class Driver's licence is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in managing fleet or emergency service projects is advantageous.
