An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to work in a leading mental health hospital based in the Southampton area.

This hospital has an excellent reputation for providing high-quality care and specializes in the management and treatment of mental health problems, including eating disorders.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

As an Occupational Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and coordinating the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services.
  • Providing a range of clinical interventions and demonstrating knowledge of models of practice.
  • Responding promptly to referrals, undertaking patient assessments, and planning and delivering appropriate interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of patient progress.
  • Engaging in practice development, evaluation, audit, and research activities relevant to occupational therapy and the service.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours a week.
