About Us

The East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership is a collaborative effort between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and East Dunbartonshire Council, working together to deliver high-quality community health, social work, and social care services to the community.

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Chief Officer, responsible for driving the effective delivery of our Strategic Plan and its key objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of success in managing health and/or social care services, with experience in developing a people-focused culture and driving large-scale organisational and cultural change programmes.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that demands exceptional leadership skills and abilities. The successful candidate will be an accomplished and credible leader, able to inspire and motivate staff to work in new and collaborative ways to achieve the best from integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the HSCP's Strategic Plan and its key objectives
  • Lead the development of a strong, people-focused culture that encourages initiative, individual and team responsibility, and open communication
  • Drive large-scale organisational and cultural change programmes
  • Manage and develop a team of staff to achieve the best from integration

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in managing health and/or social care services
  • Experience in developing a people-focused culture and driving large-scale organisational and cultural change programmes
  • Strong leadership skills and abilities
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff to work in new and collaborative ways
