About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker at The Chantry, a specialist neurological care centre in Ipswich. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in promoting choice and enhancing the experience of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support service users in the delivery of care and support, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Make decisions to enhance the service user's experience, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Accurately report and document service user information, maintaining high standards of record-keeping.
  • Promote Brainkind values and maintain high standards of care, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for all.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide exceptional care and support, demonstrating a compassionate and caring nature.
  • Previous experience or education in the field of care is essential, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care and support.
Requirements
  • A compassionate and caring nature, with excellent people skills and a strong ability to work as part of a team.
  • Recent experience in the delivery of care in a similar environment, with a strong understanding of the needs of service users.
  • A willingness to gain an NVQ 2 in health and social care, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
