About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music Department Leader to join our team at Milestone Education Ltd. As the Head of Music, you will be responsible for overseeing the Music department, developing the curriculum, and inspiring students to develop their musical talents.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that meets the needs of students
  2. Lead and manage the Music department, including staff supervision and performance management
  3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum
  4. Provide guidance and support to students, including individual lessons and group instruction
  5. Contribute to the development of the school's music program, including concerts, performances, and events

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous head of department experience or the ambition to step into a leadership role
  • A passion for music education and the ability to motivate and inspire both students and staff
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
