About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our dynamic team as a Transport and Container Logistics Administrator. This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of the operations, ensuring smooth communication and efficient management of logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Email Management: Stay on top of the mailbox, ensuring all correspondence is addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Daily Operations: Engage in the daily administration of bookings, customer communication, and distributing emails to the relevant departments.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide top-notch support to the customers and internal teams, fostering effective communication across the company.
  • Financial Coordination: Assist in checking rate confirmations, rating jobs, and managing the invoicing process.
  • General Administration: Handle basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, data input, and arranging meetings.
  • Technical Support Liaison: Work closely with support teams to resolve any IT or system issues impacting your team.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills:
    • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel.
    • Previous experience in an office environment.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new software.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desirable Experience:
    • Familiarity with TOPS (though not essential).
    • Experience in the haulage or shipping industry is a plus.
