Station Ambassador

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to join our team as a Gateline Assistant. As a key member of our station team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and welcoming experience of our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Ticket Gates to ensure all travellers have the correct ticket for their journey and provide assistance as needed.
• Manage the flow of customers through the gates during busy times and ensure the safe operation of the ticket gates.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and offering help and advice to customers.
• Be the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
• Work collaboratively with the station team to deliver a high-quality service to our customers.
• Be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances, including disruptions to services.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and has a strong attention to detail. You will be organized, efficient, and able to work well under pressure. You will also be a great communicator and be able to talk to anyone, with a positive and friendly attitude.

Working Pattern:

This role requires flexibility and the ability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. You will be required to work a minimum of 37 hours per week, including some night shifts.
