Flexible hybrid WFH: 1-2 days p/wk in Surrey office
Pear Talent have a unique opportunity for a Senior Manager, Strategy & M&A with the UK arm of a listed international insurer. You'll work closely with ExCo/Board and play a pivotal role in shaping long-term strategy, identifying growth opportunities that achieve strategic goals and lead corporate development/M&A activities.
- Corporate Development/M&A: Evaluate and analyse growth opportunities that meet strategic and financial objectives, conduct due diligence, and lead negotiations to facilitate strategic acquisitions or partnerships.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain relationships with external consultants and investment bankers to provide awareness of competitor and industry developments and assess long-term trends, providing insight to Group Office and business division teams.
- Experience in M&A, including valuation, due diligence and negotiation (adv.).
- Sound understanding of strategic drivers affecting financial services.
- First class project management and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and previous experience gained in Financial Services in a similar strategy role (consulting or in-house) with a track record of successful strategy development and execution.
