Full-Time Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) needs in our schools. As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with EAL needs, helping them to develop their language skills and access the curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans for students.
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, including preparing materials and resources for students.
  • Support students with their homework and provide additional support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Ability to speak other languages confidently, with a strong emphasis on English language skills.
  • Hard-working, positive, and 'can-do' attitude to school life.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
