Job Summary

The Goodman Masson Associate - Structured Finance Origination (Infrastructure) role is a key position in our team, supporting the origination efforts in the European Infrastructure sector. As an Associate, you will be responsible for assisting the team in structuring and executing complex international project finance transactions in the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the structuring and execution of complex international project finance transactions in the infrastructure sector, working closely with senior team members;
  • Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and review/negotiation of documentation with key stakeholders and clients;
  • Assist in the pitching process, including preparation of bid packages, pitch books, pricing & profitability assessments, and ratings;
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on new transactions, including Risk, Distribution, Agency, Compliance, Portfolio Management, Legal, and Treasury;
  • Execute mandated transactions until Financial Close, including liaison with external advisors and clients;
  • Assist the team in general marketing and ancillary activities, such as client database management, presentations, and digital marketing;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong academic background, including a university degree;
  • Minimum of 3 years prior experience in relevant financial services, banking, or industry;
  • Significant analytical and excellent client-facing/commercial skills;
  • A team player with flexibility and a positive attitude in a time-sensitive transaction-driven environment;
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude towards responsibilities assigned;
  • Fluent in English, with further European language skills considered positively;
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel, mainly in Europe, with occasional travel required at short notice;
  • Advanced MS-Office know-how (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
