We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN1) to join our diverse nursing team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
About the Role:- Provide clinical leadership and professional support to junior staff in the Outpatients departments.
- Contribute to future service transformation and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Develop skills in recruitment and retention, sickness management, and performance management.
- Act as a team leader to an identified group of staff and monitor their clinical skills.
- Participate in risk management, customer care, and stock management.
- Provide expert, holistic care of a high standard to patients and their relatives.
- Act as a clinical resource within the ward and across the Care Group.
- Develop skills in recruitment and retention, sickness management, and performance management.
- Act as a positive role model to junior staff members.
- Contribute to the wider educational activities within the Care Group.
- Active NMC registration at the time of starting appointment.
- Awareness of current issues, particularly the NHS Outpatient Recovery and Transformation Plan.
- Excellent communication skills and relevant post-registration experience.
- Mentorship qualification or equivalent.
- Ideal leadership experience.
