About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Director with Ecommerce Background to join our Retail Team at N Brown. As a leader in our field, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth and delivering the best possible customer experience throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead, develop and coach the Trading Team, and be part of the NBrown Trading leadership team.
  2. Drive online and app sales for your Brand/s to deliver against commercial plans and forecasts.
  3. Drive the day to day trading of the brand to achieve the overall commercial targets, through definition and execution of the trading plan, e.g., new season launches, promotional activity, etc.
  4. Work cross functionally across teams including product, marketing, online merchandising to develop the optimal customer proposition.
  5. Identify opportunities for improvement in performance and ROI and key ecommerce metrics.
  6. React to trends and external events impacting, or likely to impact, Trade (PEST), e.g., adverse weather, pandemic, etc.
  7. Understand and drive customer behaviour to deliver the best customer journey/experience and drive improvement across key ecommerce metrics.
  8. Work cross functionally with technology, data, UX and CRO teams to build the best customer experience possible.
  9. Execute the promotion of credit offerings in line with regulations.
  10. Inform and contribute to brand and marketing strategies, business plans, forecasts and budget allocation.
  11. Establish and maintain stakeholder networks across multiple business areas.

About You

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent or extensive relevant work experience.
  • Specialist knowledge of Ecommerce, and experience within adjacent areas, e.g., online merchandising, performance media, desirable.
  • Strong awareness of business structure and strategy.
  • Ecommerce experience within a fashion retailer preferred.
