We are seeking a skilled Bus Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Arriva UK Bus Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of buses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and Maintenance: Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks on our buses to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.
- Diagnostic Fault Finding: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair faults on our buses, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Quality Checks: Conduct regular quality checks on our buses to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Vehicle Reliability: Work with our team to identify and implement improvements to vehicle reliability, reducing downtime and increasing overall efficiency.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Hold a minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent international qualification in PSV/HGV/Light vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Experience: Have at least 5 years' experience in repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV/Light vehicles.
- Driving Licence: Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Medical Fitness: Be able to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.
