Job Title: Quantum Device Software Developer

Job Summary:

Silvaco is seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our device simulation team in Europe. As a member of the TCAD group, you will design, implement, evaluate, and improve quantum mechanical physical models and methods for the simulation of semiconductor devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, support, test, and maintain simulation software tools.
  • Identify and understand limitations of existing software components.
  • Improve and develop simulation methodologies.
  • Develop and provide software solutions for physical models.
  • Identify, implement, and test new physical models for quantum optoelectronic and quantum transport device simulation.
  • Communicate complex ideas and testing results effectively.
  • Work independently and solve problems on your own initiative.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in simulation of devices using quantum mechanical methods.
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor physics and quantum mechanics.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and software design.
  • Experience in software development within teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
