We are seeking a skilled Caretaker to join our team at Ackerman Pierce. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing properties and ensuring that all communal areas are well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of communal areas to identify and address any faults or issues.
  • Respond promptly to any Health & Safety concerns and take necessary action to mitigate risks.
  • Check fire alarms and firefighting equipment to ensure compliance with fire regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain security equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure properties are well-maintained.
  • Distribute mail and other correspondence to residents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a caretaking or property maintenance role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require lifting and manual labor.
