We are currently recruiting for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at one of our special schools in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.

About the Role

This SEN Teaching Assistant position involves providing valuable support to children with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning difficulties, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working closely with teaching staff to develop and implement effective strategies to support students with SEN
  • Providing individualized support to students with diverse needs
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of SEN support

Requirements:

  • Qualification in education, childcare, or a related field (desired)
  • Experience working with children with SEN (preferable)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
