Financial Accountant Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading international manufacturing business as a Financial Accountant.

The role is based in an office environment and offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to lead on all tax-related operations, including monthly reconciliations of tax and pension accounts, managing tax responsibilities across the UK and Europe.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and qualifications in accounting (desirable).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly reconciliations of tax and pension accounts, managing tax responsibilities across the UK and Europe.
  • Contribute to monthly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting guidelines.
  • Keep up-to-date with tax regulations and filing requirements, handling VAT submissions in both the UK and Europe.
  • Administer duty declarations, bonded warehouse activities, and ensure adherence to AEO requirements.
  • Lead tax audit preparations, conduct regular internal compliance reviews, and complete PSA and UK Corporation tax filings.
