Job Description: Manufacturing Team Lead

The Just Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Manufacturing Team Lead to join our client's engineering company in Braintree, Essex. As a Manufacturing Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of production supervisors and operatives to achieve production targets, maintain quality standards, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

About the Role:
  • Manage and motivate a team of 30+ operatives
  • Ensure production targets are met and quality standards are upheld
  • Implement new ERP and TMS systems for accurate data entry and payroll approval
  • Optimize processes and manage resources to reduce costs and improve efficiency

Requirements:
  • 6 Sigma qualification (Green or Yellow belt)
  • Experience in supervising large teams within an engineering environment
  • Previous experience with SQCDP principles
  • Experience of MRP systems
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications

Working Hours: Flexible hours, with the possibility of working across various shifts to ensure continuous production coverage.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
