Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Contract Specialist to join our team at NAVSUP. As a Contract Specialist, you will play a critical role in acquiring goods and services for the Government, exercising decision-making powers on contracting matters, and displaying good business acumen consistent with the organization's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate contract price proposals and negotiate contracts for the acquisition/repair of supplies and services
- Administer and terminate contracts in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
- Exercise decision-making powers on contracting matters, displaying good business acumen consistent with the organization's strategic goals
Requirements
- Meet minimum qualifications for the position and educational eligibility requirements
- Have a strong understanding of contracting principles and procedures
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
