About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Platform team at UNiDAYS. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our cloud strategy and driving innovation in cloud automation and developer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Collaborate with software engineers to identify areas for improvement and drive platform enhancements
  • Identify new technologies and drive improvements across our platform, shared tooling, modules, and packages
  • Develop and maintain self-serving capabilities for software teams
  • Monitor platform performance and identify areas for improvement with a Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset
  • Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to the development of best practices
Requirements
  • Strong cloud knowledge, including hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
  • Experience with IaC tools, such as CloudFormation and Terraform
  • Knowledge of security, networking, CDN, load balancing, and storage solutions
  • Good understanding of CI/CD practices across multiple environments
  • Development experience with C#, Python, and TypeScript
  • AWS/Terraform certification
Nice to Have
  • Database administration experience with MSSQL, RDS, DynamoDB, Neptune, and Redshift
  • Background in mentoring, training, or knowledge sharing with other engineers
  • Knowledge of containerization
  • Operational experience in resolving incidents and conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
