We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Designer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As an Audio Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating immersive and engaging audio experiences for our games.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement high-quality audio assets, including sound effects, music, and voiceovers.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of audio elements into the game.
- Participate in audio recording sessions and contribute to improving workflows and processes.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members and respond to feedback in a positive manner.
- Work closely with other disciplines to ensure a cohesive experience between audio and other crafts.
- Contribute to the development of creative and technical solutions to improve the audio experience in our game.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clear understanding of audio requirements and expectations.
- 3+ years of experience as a Sound Designer in the Games industry.
- BA, BSc, or equivalent work experience in Sound Design, Music Production, or Recording Arts.
- In-depth knowledge of audio theory and sound design practices, including waveform editing, equalization, compression, mixing, and plug-ins.
- Proficiency with audio software DAWs, such as Reaper, Nuendo, Pro Tools, Sound Forge, Cubase, and Logic.
- Proficiency with audio plug-in software, such as Waves, FabFilter, iZotope, Soundtoys, and others.
- Proficiency in authoring 5.1 Surround sound mixes.
- Experience or knowledge of audio game development tools, such as Wwise, FMOD, or other proprietary Editors.
- Strong technical proficiency and knowledge of visual scripting programs, such as Reaktor, Max, Pure Data, or UDK.
- Commitment to continuously improving your skill set as a Sound Designer.
- Passion for learning and sharing, seeking new ways to improve the Audio in our games.
