Millwrighting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwrighting Professional to join our team at Oldcastle Inc. This role involves working in an industrial manufacturing environment, ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in automation systems, electrical systems, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems, with experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with automation systems, electrical components, mechanical equipment, and hydraulic systems.

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation systems, electrical components, mechanical equipment, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, using knowledge of automation, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic principles.
• Install, configure, and calibrate automation systems, including programmable logic controllers, sensors, actuators, and other control devices.
• Conduct inspections and tests on machinery and equipment to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions proactively.
• Collaborate with production personnel to address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
• Document maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems or other record-keeping tools.
• Stay updated with advancements in automation technology, electrical systems, mechanical engineering, and hydraulic systems through ongoing training and professional development.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training in maintenance millwrighting.
