Zodiac Recruitment is working with a leading name in Surface Water Management to find a talented Drainage Engineer to join their team in Nottingham.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer with experience in drainage design, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS), to join our client's multi-disciplinary team. As a Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for producing drainage infrastructure design packages, assisting engineers in developing drainage design solutions, and coordinating with other disciplines working on projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop drainage infrastructure solutions, including SUDS, for various projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure technically excellent projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to showcase SUDS expertise to clients.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in drainage design, including SUDS, and hydraulic modeling.
  • Competence in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and/or Civils 3D.
  • Awareness of BIM and digital design processes.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
