The Financial Data Specialist will play a vital role in helping nature recover by ensuring the integrity of our financial data and providing reports to enable informed financial decision making.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Producing monthly management accounts to provide accurate financial information.
  • Completing monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts, cash, income, and other control accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Providing timely and accurate financial data to colleagues at all levels to support informed decision making.
  • Assisting with the production of statutory accounts and working closely with auditors at year-end.

Requirements:



  • Part-Qualified Accountant or equivalent level of working experience.
  • Strong management accounts skills and knowledge of financial regulations.
  • Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders and convey financial information effectively.
  • Capacity to prioritise workload, work unsupervised, and as part of a team.
  • Good Microsoft Office and accountancy software skills.

What We Offer:



  • A competitive salary of £38,312 per annum (dependent on qualification and experience).
  • A fixed-term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
  • A 35-hour working week, providing a healthy work-life balance.
