Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our UK wide team of electricians. As a result of our continued growth and success, we are looking for an individual to complete inspections and testing for customers in the Energy division with a particular focus on Petrol Filling Stations sites across the UK.

The post holder will work independently in hazardous areas to ensure all systems are inspected, tested, and installed correctly while also liaising with both customers and the internal business to provide long-term solutions and enhance the services offered.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for inspection, testing, and installation of electrical systems at petrol filling stations across the UK.
  • Liaise with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services provided.
  • Communicate with colleagues including other engineers, management and business support staff regarding on-going works progress and further identified opportunities.
  • Completion of documentation such as test certifications and RAMS to ensure full compliance for audit purposes and always meeting Health and Safety standards.
  • Largely working independently while still maintaining a strong teamwork mentality, with regular team interactions.

About you:

  • Required qualifications: C&G 2391 or equivalent, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and 18th Edition Certification.
  • Hold a JIB Gold Card/ECS Gold Card.
  • Valid and clean UK driving license.
  • Experience with RAMS documentation.
  • Have a strong commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Eager to contribute to a growing company that values development, innovation and compliance.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Salary: £35,000 - £41,000 base, plus great overtime + van + tools + medicash + career opportunities.
